Abstract

This Master's memoir focuses on the outlook teachers in French-speaking Switzerland have on Bilingualism at school, putting research done by scholars in relation with a field study conducted specifically for this paper. The aim is to determine how Bilingualism is dealt with on school grounds, and how research is implemented in the classroom. A questionnaire was made to gather quantitative data which then enabled conclusions to be drawn. Interviews were later conducted with some respondents to further their answers.
