Abstract

The International Conference on Clinical Metagenomics (ICCMg) is a gathering place for researchers and clinicians to explore the latest developments in this emerging field. CMg, which utilizes next-generation sequencing (NGS) to identify and characterize pathogens, holds immense promise for enhancing diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes. The ICCMg conference delves into a wide range of topics, from technical aspects to clinical applications, ethical considerations, and the pivotal role of collaboration between different disciplines, but also between academia and industry in advancing this field. In the future, CMg is poised to integrate healthcare routine through standardized protocols and guidelines, ensuring that laboratories can effectively implement this powerful technology.
