This thesis examines the various issues and challenges encountered during the process of integration and social inclusion of Colombian migrants in French-speaking Switzerland. Adopting a comprehensive and exploratory approach, eight interviews were conducted with four women and four men who grew up in Colombia and emigrated to French-speaking Switzerland. Through these rich testimonies, we identified several factors whose roles are crucial in these processes: proficiency in French, linguistic accent, socio-economic resources, residency status, level of education, transversal skills, appearance and ethnic background, access to the educational system, etc. This research also highlights the impact of these issues on the social participation opportunities of the respondents. Their journeys and unique trajectories, situated in a specific temporal context, reveal the importance of considering individual dynamics and structural conditions to understand the challenges and opportunities of social inclusion.
