Abstract

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between cardiorespiratory fitness and the three core components of executive functions in Swiss preadolescent children, while exploring age as a moderator factor of the relationship. Method: Sixty-four participants (8–12 years old, mean age = 10,75, 36 girls and 28 boys) completed a 20-meters shuttle run test in order to assess their level of cardiorespiratory fitness.
