Abstract

The present study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the dynamic instructions compared to the static equivalent due to increased popularity of “How to” videos on the social networks, and the assumption, that people show higher performance and are more engaged while learning through videos. Based on the recommended instructional design guidelines for software learning, two conditions were developed: dynamic (video based) & static (on-screen presentation) tutorial. 30 participants (mean age 38) were individually assessed by random distribution of learning materials...
