Hypocaustmodell mit sensiblem und latentem Austausch

Abstract We present a burried pipe modell which was developped in the frame of an experience dealing with short term heat storage in agricultural greenhouses, with important and varying humidity rates. Therefore it takes into account both sensible and latent heat exchange. It does allow airflows in one or the other pipe direction and is designed so as to accept flexible geometries: as well soil properties as initial and boundary conditions can be set individually or collectively on a range of nodes. Boundary conditions are either fixed temperature or adiabatic. It can include heat gains by an integrated fan and simple charge losses along the pipes, as well as waterinfiltration at pipe entrances. Besides description of the modell, we present its use on two different systems: the short term heat storage system, with important latent exchanges, and a burried pipe system for warming up of fresh air.
