Résumé

This contribution compares statutory provisions on international arb itration in Germany, France and Switzerland (French and German version). It is based on an interdisciplinary approach and shows that the analysis of explicitness of statutory provisions from a linguistic point of view needs to take into account legal factors such as their scope and content in order to be meaningful.
