Abstract

This chapter addresses the reconfiguration of statistical cartography beyond national scales in a context of accelerating and globalising socio-economic and environmental changes, access to massive data, and diversification of actors in cartographic production. It will focus on the political and informational (dis)alignments induced by these evolutions, notably through the example of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
