Abstract

Characterization of Dbx2 function and regulation during forelimb development. Production of a new line with loss of function of Dbx2 which showed precocious mineralization of sesamoid bones in digits joints. We found that Dbx2 expression is regulated by Hox genes. We also found that Dbx2 is likely coregulated with Ano6 and Nell2.
