Identify best practices to ensure medium and long term effects concerning energy efficiency programs for the residential sector. We study a population of 220,000 households observed during a period of ten years. Among these, several tens of thousands participated in a variety of energy efficiency programs. A qualitative and quantitative post-analysis assess the sustain-ability of the actions in terms of energy savings and acceptability to long-term strategies of the programmes.
