Ce phénomène est d'autant plus important pour les pays à revenu moyen ou faible, où les vulnérabilités au changement climatique sont élevées. Cependant, tant au niveau de la production qu'au niveau politique, la sensibilisation et les mesures d'adaptation et de mitigation du changement climatique sont faibles, en particulier pour les petits agriculteurs. L'agriculture, qui contribue négativement au changement climatique, est l'un des secteurs les plus éminents pour la subsistance de vastes populations. Comme alternative au paradigme productiviste, l'introduction d'une approche d'agriculture intelligente face au climat (AIC) pour relever ces défis constitue donc un crucial pas en avant. Grâce à cette approche, le développement agricole durable peut conduire à une augmentation des rendements, encourageant ainsi les petits agriculteurs à continuer à cultiver, contribuant au développement rural, à la sécurité alimentaire et à l'amélioration des agroécosystèmes en adoptant et en mitigeant les impacts du changement climatique. Cette recherche, qui fait suite à ces questions, se concentre donc sur l'application des solutions AIC possibles par les petits agriculteurs de la région de Thrace en Turquie. Due to the adverse effects of climate change, population growth and depletion of natural resources, the future of agriculture and sustainable food production is a major challenge globally. This is especially crucial for middle and low income countries, where vulnerabilities to climate change are high. However, both at the production and policy levels, awareness and climate change adaptation and mitigation measures are low, especially for smallholder farmers. Agriculture, which contributes negatively to climate change, is one of the most prominent sectors for the livelihoods of large populations. As an alternative to the productivist paradigm, introducing a climate smart agriculture (CSA) approach to address these challenges is therefore an important step forward. Through this approach, sustainable agricultural development can lead to increased yields, thereby encouraging smallholder farmers to continue farming, contributing to rural development, food security and improving agroecosystems by adopting and mitigating the impacts of climate change. This research, which follows these questions, therefore focuses on the application of possible CSA solutions by smallholder farmers in the Thrace region of Turkey.
