We undertook a study dealing with floristics, structural botany, ethnobotany and phytogeography of the native palms from Togo and Benin. Our research combined the study of herbarium specimens (BENIN, BR, BRLU, G and TOGO) and the study of samples collected in the frame of our fieldwork.
