Abstract

Website blocking is an important issue for legal professionals and courts in Switzerland. It is a measure that consists of blocking a website, a web page or a specific content, which may be ordered by an authority against a service provider (e. g. Swisscom may be ordered to block access to certain websites containing defamatory texts or works that infringe copyright).
