Detection of mRNA for proteins involved in retinol metabolism in iris pigment epithelium

Abstract

To investigate in iris pigment epithelium (IPE) the expression of mRNA for proteins involved in retinol metabolism we used a semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technique.
