Abstract

Writing books about the ethics of genetics has become a cottage industry. In this particular genre, Philip Kitcher does a much better job than most. As usual, the book's dust jacket presents quotes from various people who have nice things to say about the author. However, that Richard Lewontin, Jon Beckwith, and Jim Watson would all praise the same book and its author is surprising.
