Abstract Chiral ferrocenyl-based diphosphines lead to kinetic resolution of 1,3-cyclohexadiene monoepoxide with moderate to good enantioselectivity (up to 90% ee) and good regioselectivity with various Grignard reagents through an anti-SN2¢ pathway.
