The 2014 recommendations regarding adult immunization in Switzerland include the use of the 13-valent anti-pneumococcal vaccine instead of the 23-valent in patients at high risk of invasive infection and of the influenza vaccine during the entire pregnancy. This article reviews these recommendations and discusses situations requiring specific immunizations schemes.
