Abstract

To critically review the potential role of monitoring technologies in the management of pediatric acute respiratory distress syndrome, and specifically regarding monitoring of the general condition, respiratory system mechanics, severity scoring parameters, imaging, hemodynamic status, and specific weaning considerations.
