This paper is dealing with the age of Assyrian domination in the city of Megiddo. The beginning of stratum III reflects the reconstruction of the city by the Assyrian administration after the events of 732. Three architectural structures of this layer are discussed here : the door 500 of the city (there is no intermediate Stage between the two main phases), the residence 1369 and 1052 of mesopotamian style and the grain silo 1414. This silo may have been used to collect taxes, it provides food for 2 000 persons a year and requires 400 hectares minimum to fill. With these buildings, we have some insights of the practical aspects of the Assyrian administration in Megiddo.
