Abstract

An 83-year-old male patient was admitted to a geriatric ward for back pain exacerbation and walking difficulty since several months. He had history of hypertension and prostate carcinoma (Gleason score: 5 + 5 = 10) treated by total prostatectomy 2 years earlier. The patient was lost to follow-up soon after the intervention. He had no regular treatment apart from increasing doses of over-the-counter acetaminophen (up to 6 g daily) due to worsening back pain.
