Abstract

Environment and Bulgarian forests: a systemic approach. - A general methodology for a sustainable development is presented. Local application is made for Bulgaria concerning the interaction: man-environment-society, this one through physical, chemical and biological viability envelopes. Forest characteristics are outlined as the capacity of carbon sequestration.
