Abstract PET/CT with F-fluorocholine (a positron-labeled choline analog) is currently used as a diagnostic tool for restaging prostate cancer patients with increasing prostate-specific antigen. We present an unusual case of a false-positive result using F-fluorocholine PET/CT because of incidental and ectopic parathyroid hyperplasia.
