Les données du Bronze final de la zone nord-alpine occidentale permettent de préciser la chronologie interne des phases HaB1 et HaB3 définies par H. Müller-Karpe, chacune pouvant être subdivisée en deux horizons, ce qui donne du plus ancien au plus récent : horizon des épingles des palafittes, à nodosités et à col renflé décoré de stries alternes (HaA2 ?/HaB1 ancien), horizon des épingles céphalaires (HaB1 classique), horizon des épingles à petite tête vasiforme et à grande tête céphalaire (HaB3 ancien), horizon des épingles à tête vasiforme minuscule et des épingles à ombrelle (HaB3 récent). Entre ce deux grands blocs chronologiques, la sédimentologie et la dendrochronologie mettent en évidence une phase de transgression lacustre, qui marque apparemment un abandon temporaire des habitats palafittiques. Cette phase pourrait être mise en relation avec le HaB2 de H. Müller-Karpe. Sa définition typologique est encore floue dans la zone étudiée, où elle apparaît comme une phase de transition. ABSTRACT. The Final Bronze Age data from the western north-alpine zone allows us to clarify the chronology of the phases HaB1 and HaB3 as defined by H. Müller-Karpe (1959). Each phase can be subdivided into two horizons, the earliest characterised by pins with nodules and a thick neck with decorative alternate streaks from palafittic contexts (HaA2? / early HaB1), the second characterised by cephalic pins (classic HaB1), the third characterised by small vaseheaded pins and large cephalic pins (early HaB3), and the fourth by tiny vaseheaded pins and umbrella headed pins (recent HaB3). Between these two large chronological blocks, sedimentological and dendrochronological data highlight a lakeside transgression, which marks the apparent temporary abandon of the lakeshore settlements. This phase could relate to the HaB2 of H. Müller-Karpe. Its typological definition is still vague in the area studied, where it seems correspond to a phase of transition.
