Abstract

Resistivity measurements performed under pressure in high-quality single crystal of CePd2Si2 are reported. Evidence for superconductivity is found in a large pressure range (2-7 GPa) with, at 5 GPa, an optimal superconducting transition temperature Tc ≈ 520mK and an initial slope of the critical field of about!10 T/K
