Abstract Congenital left ventricular aneurysm is an uncommon cardiac malformation. A 9-year-old boy with complaints of dyspnea and palpitation was diagnosed with a left ventricular aneurysm originating from the left ventricle free wall. Aneurysm resection and endoventricular patch repair was performed. Postoperative follow-up was uncomplicated and follow-up echocardiographs showed normal left ventricular contractility.
