Abstract Degenerative scoliosis is often unappreciated in all-day clinical practice, however more and more frequent in the elderly population and deserves particular attention. This article aims to provide practitioners with practical guidelines to track these patients, organise radiological assessment in accordance with clinical situations, and implement an adequate therapeutic strategy.
