Abstract

In this article we develop around the idea that Failure Tolerant and Detection systems can be built using similar mechanisms that the ones used to implement Publish/Subscribe systems. Then, we propose Directional Random Walks (DRW) as a heuristic mechanism to propagate information in wireless networks in order to match publications with subscriptions. The efficiency of this heuristic is validated with numerical experiments.
