Endor investigation of a VF center in natural CaF2 crystals

Abstract

This note reports ENDOR measurements performed on a VF center in natural CaF2 crystals. It consists of an F2− molecule ion associated with an Na+ ion. The presence of the Na+ impurity seems to be characteristic of the yellow fluorites.
