Flux separation in crystal growth of YBa2Cu3O7 - x

Published inJournal of crystal growth, vol. 96, no. 2, p. 465-467
Publication date1989
Abstract

One of the problems in crystal growth of the high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7-x is the separation of the grown crystals from residual flux. This is overcome by smooth suction of the liquid by means of porous ceramic dipped into the liquid at the end of the experiment.
