Abstract

In clinical practice of intensive care, no method of measure of cardiac output lacks limitations. Consequently, no one of them showed her superiority in regard to another one. Although the classic thermodilution was the reference in the twentieth century, recently, the measure of cardiac output by non invasive techniques was widely developed. The present article reviews the recent developments in this area.
