Abstract Perioperative acute kidney injury (AKI) is associated with increased mortality and morbidity. Our aim was to evaluate the incidence and determinants of AKI using the risk, injury, failure, loss of function, and end-stage kidney disease (RIFLE) criteria in thoracic surgical patients.
