Abstract

The technic of nuclear transplantation reveals the presence of totipotential cell nuclei not only in the larval gut epithelium (OURDON and ÜHLINGER, 1966) but also in the population of the prosencephalon of advanced neurula stage and in the epidermis of hatching tadpole.
