The aim of this presentation is twofold: first, we will overview the general principles of R (basics of the R language and interfaces); second, we will look at a few examples of classical linear models (ANOVA and regression) and see what specific analysis can be run using some special R packages. Overall, the aim of this presentation is to overview some of the R benefits and to offer tools and advice to overcome classical beginners issues.
