Abstract

The effect of mechanical stirring on the BrO₃^-/Ce⁴⁺/malonic acid, BrO₃^-/Ce⁴⁺/cyclohexanon and BrO₃^-/Ce⁴⁺/cyclopentanon have been investigated.

The rate of stirring affects the oscillating behaviour of these 3 systems and eventually suppresses the oscillations.
