Abstract

The 35Cl nuclear quadrupole resonance spectra of ρ-dichlorobenzene in several clathrates are reported in the temperature range 77 K to room temperature. The information provided by this technique as to the nature of the guest-host interactions is discussed in the light of these results and it is concluded that NQR represents a useful technique in this context.
