Abstract

Magnetic circular dichroism in the visible of the equilibrium mixture of the yellow Fe(CN)₅(OH₂)²⁻ and the violet Fe₂(CN)⁴⁻₁₀ shows that the latter dimer is diamagnetic in aqueous solution.
