Étude par résonance quadripolaire des composés du type p-ClC6H4-MMe3 (M = C, Si, Ge, Sn)

Abstract

The 35Cl nuclear quadrupole resonance frequencies at 77°K of the series of compounds p-ClC6H4-MMe3 are reported (M = C, Si, Ge, Sn). The measurements are analysed in terms of the π character of the C-Cl bond. The closeness of the experimental values suggests similar structures for the C-Cl bond throughout the series.
