Abstract

Eleven tiny species belonging to the superfamily Glabratellacea were isolated and identified in the 63-32 μm size fraction of samples collected in the intertidal zone of the Mediterranean Sea. The new genus Rossyatella, n.gen., type species Rossyatella colonnensis, n.gen., n.sp., and two new species Rotaliella rugosa, n.sp. and Metarotaliella porquerollensis, n.sp., are described.
