Abstract

Delphine Gardey and Jacqueline Laufer talk to Yvette Roudy about her personal, professional and political career. Yvette Roudy's name is associated with the July 13, 1983 law on professional equality between women and men. A former French Minister for Women's Rights (1981-1986), Yvette Roudy retraces her actions in this area, placing them in the broader context of her feminist and political commitment to equality and parity. Yvette Roudy doesn't mince her words. She tells us about her convictions and positions, as well as her indignation and outrage. Her testimony shows just how far we've come, and how much remains to be done.
