Abstract

This book is a comprehensive international family law study on habitual residence for universities, administrative (i.e. central authorities, notaries, child protection services) and judicial authorities, at any instance, as well as individuals alike. International and regional organisations (i.e. Hague Conference on Private International Law, Council of Europe Family Law and Children's Rights units, European Union justice departments) as well as the United Nations inter-agency actors (i.e. High Commissioner for Refugees, High Commissioner for Human Rights, International Organisation for Migration, INGOs) and the United Nations committees (i.e. Committee on the Rights of the Child, Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities) are indeed targeted audiences.
