Abstract

Description of a polarographic method for the determination of microgram quantities of lead in blood and other biological media. This methods comprises 3 main steps which are: a) wet-ashing of the blood, b) extraction of the lead with dithizone and c) polarography; its sensitivity = 1 μg ± 10 %.
