On September 2nd 2021, E. Peter Kündig, Honorary Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Geneva (Figure 1), reached an important milestone of his life and career, namely his 75th birthday. On that occasion, thanks to the help of many colleagues – Prof. Clément Mazet in particular – a special afternoon symposium was organized to celebrate his career as a scientist, as a mentor and as a pilot of many initiatives, programs and conferences both nationally and internationally.
