Several petrographic and stratigraphic sections, taken in 3 different units of the Himalayas in Eastern Nepal and Everest area (the Khumbu serie, the Kathmandu and Nawakot nappes) are given. The Khumbu series and the Kathmandu nappes overtrhust the Nawakot nappes. A recurrence of the series of Khumbu and the Kathmandu nappes is discribed South of Okhaldunga: the length of the overthrust amounts around 40 miles in this area.
