My work analyzes the crisis of the idea of nature in the environmental humanities. A first part maps a-naturalist arguments that deconstruct the idea of nature in the context of ecological crises. A second part discusses different multi-naturalist strategies that claim non-dual conceptions and uses of the idea of nature. A third part deepens the defense of multi-naturalism by exploring the ecotheological and ecospiritual margins. I propose a minor environmental philosophy that strives to hear, justify, and connect the minority voices of naturalism in order to bear witness to their transformative, critical, and constructive powers in the face of ecological challenges.
