Abstract

The mass spectra of the three cyclopentane-1,2,3-triols, six cyclopentane-tetrols and four cyclopentane-pentols stereoisomers have been studied. Complex processes, especially regarding the H₂O eliminations, were detected by extensive deuterium labelling.
