Présence de Trinocladus perplexus ELLIOTT (Dasycladales) dans le Jurassique de France et d'Afrique du Nord-Est

Publication date1974
Abstract

Trinocladus perplexus was first described by ELLIOTT (1955) from the Palaeocene-Eocene of Irak. The alga was found in formations of Oxfordian-Kimmeridgian age located in France and North-East Africa. Trinocladus perplexus is reconstructed and compared with other species of the genus. The shape of its primary branches points to a sornewhat primitive pattern, if compared with those belonging to the type-species T. tripolitanus.
