This report presents the analysis of discourses that Alternative Food Organizations (AFOs) publish on their websites. The data collection is based on frame analysis used to identify the framing, the subject, the action, and the issue discussed. The report shows that AFOs seldom speak about existing problems in the food system. Instead, they focus on solutions. AFOs dedicate much of their online discourses to the presentation of their actions that mostly take the form of direct social actions - actions that seek to establish changes directly in their practices or on the markets.
