Abstract

Based on the ledgers of the medical practitioners active in the Geneva region in the last decades of the XVIIIth century, this chapter analysis both the use of accounts in medical practice and what each account book tells the historian of their work as a healer, their relations with patients and, of course, the economic reality of medical practice in the Enlightenment.
