The two notions stated hereunder should belong to the fundamentals of dynamical geology; the former deals with subductions and subsequent flowage; the latter, with laminating and connected compressions. Corollaries are also considered; the mechanism which generated the back of many nappes before their basis; the creation of rootless nappes; the underground formation of the Emilius nappe, with subjacent ophiolites pertaining to the nappe; and well preserved permocarboniferous volcanic features in the middle of strongly deformed strata.
