The investigations of tumulus 31a of the eastern necropolis of Sboryanovo in 2019 aimed to complete the existing documentation of the tomb discovered during the excavations of the tumulus in 2013, with photogram- metric and 3D digitalization. Thirty-six samples for chemical analysis of the floor of the tombs were taken. New protective construction for the long-term preservation of the tomb was made. The activities were made possible with the financial support of the Swiss-Liechtenstein Foundation for Archaeological Research Abroad (SLSA).
